Global Missions and the Church

Join us for a new class coming this Fall called Global Missions and the Church. Beginning October 23rd as a GCC pre-conference workshop and then on October 29th for four consecutive Sunday sessions, this five-part class will cover topics such as:

God’s Redemptive Plan from Genesis to Revelation: The Common Thread
God’s Missional Heart as Displayed in the Book of Acts
Cross-Cultural Church Planting
Habits of a Christian on Global Mission

We are taught by an array of speakers, including missionaries in the field, representatives of sending agencies and Hope members on mission. As believers, we all have a part to play in Global Missions – going, sending, supporting and praying.

We are hosting a Missions Night on Monday October 23rd from 6:00-9:30 PM and must be attended ahead of starting the course.  This workshop is an integral part of the course during which we will hear from Missions leaders who have planted a church among an unreached language group and/or trained up national workers. This session will be an important time for us to learn how the Lord is calling us to be used in seeing disciples made among unreached peoples. Some are called to literally “go” where the gospel has not yet gone, while others are called to support those who “go” and also to make disciples in other ways, including locally. Please register for the Monday night workshop here.
